Danat Zhumin

About

Danat Zhumin is an entrepreneur, co-founder of the Dala Edge creative technology park, co-chair of the Q-88 Association and chair of the board of Baitursynov University.

He served as deputy akim of Shymkent (2018–2019) and deputy head of the Prime Minister's Office (2019–2021), and holds a master's degree from the University of Montana under the Bolashak programme. He founded NYFA Kazakhstan, the first New York Film Academy campus in Asia, and launched Creative Collaboration Belt scholarships for six Central Asian countries.
